NOW HIRING YOUTH SERVICES ASSISTANT
The Germantown Community Library has 1-2 openings for a Youth Services Assistant. The position is approximately 10-15 hours per week and may include daytime, evening, or Saturday hours. Primary duties include information assistance, reader’s advisory and programming, including weekly storytimes, for birth – age 18. Youth library/ programming experience or experience working with children in an educational setting preferred. Starting rate is $10 – $12 per hour.

Faxing charges for outgoing and incoming faxes have changed to $1.00 per page. There is still no fee for the cover page.
The 2018 Friends of the Germantown Community Library Book Sale raised over $8,000 this year – THANK YOU for everyone who came!!! All of the money raised will go directly to the library to fund programs and services not traditionally covered in the library budget. In 2018, the Friends have already committed to help pay for 4 youth summer reading programs , 5-6 new computers for the library, the Purchase Award Art show this fall, Annual Meeting speaker, and supplies for the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program.
