    GERMANTOWN FARMER’S MARKET (Saturdays @ 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)

    Join the library at the Germantown Farmer’s Market this summer from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  We will have a variety of different activities each week including kid’s crafts, bubbles, chalk, giant games, character visits, and books for sale as well as information about library programs and services.

    The library will be hosting technical support consultations from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month.  Please register by stopping by the Reference Desk calling the library at (262) 253-7760 or emailing William at wkressin@germantownlibrarywi.org.  Make sure to include the topic of your question so we can be prepared with instructions.  Can’t make the scheduled times?  Let us know and we can work to find a time that meets your scheduling needs.

    Some examples of questions include using library databases, downloading eBooks or eAudiobooks through Overdrive/Libby or RB Digital, using a tablet, setting up an email account, research assistance, genealogy research, signing up for Gale Courses, and printing.

    The library will be offering craft and activity workshop for adults and those ages 12+.  Crafts vary in length of completion, but you are welcome to drop anytime during the time slots.  Space is very limited.  Registration is required and closes a week prior to each program.  Please visit the Adult Reference Desk, call the library at (262) 253-7760 or email Trisha at smithp@germantownlibrarywi.org to register.

    NATURAL CHOICES FOR ENERGY (Wednesday, August 21 @ 3:00 p.m.)

    Join Susan Pokorny as she discusses natural choices for energy. She brings ideas and inspiration for a better and healthier way of life in mind, body, and spirit.  Susan Pokorny has been a trainer for over 30 years in the wellness industry and has certifications in Trauma Sensitive Holy Yoga, Thai Bodywork, Pilates and Aromatherapy.  She is also the author of the book “Two Inches of Wool: The Simple Art of Self-Care.”

    Mystery / Thriller Book Group

    The Mystery/Thriller Book Group generally meets the 4th Thursday of each month from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the library’s large meeting room.  Join us for some interesting reading and lively conversation.  No registration is required. All are welcome!  Free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate provided by the Friends of the Germantown Community Library!
