    • No sign up is required, just drop in!
    • Storytime lasts about 30 minutes.
    • Storytime is followed by a craft or activity.

    Join us for stories, movement and music geared for preschoolers. Storytime is a great way to introduce growing kids to books, social interaction and lifelong learning!

    Paint Your Own Mini Piggy Bank

    Celebrate Money Smart Week at the library!  Kids can drop-in anytime to paint and decorate a piggy-bank.  We will also have money-related board games such as Monopoly, Payday, and Life to play.  Families will receive a free book (while supplies last).

    Winter got you feeling blue?  Join us for a discussion of how nature interaction can help with emotional healing and spiritual growth.  Presenter Philip Chard is a psychotherapist with over 30 years experience, and an award-winning newspaper columnist for the Milwaukee Journal and book author.  Question & answer session and refreshments to follow.

    Stop in for a variety of different crafts.  Crafters of all skill levels are welcome and all supplies are provided.  Crafts are geared towards ages 8 to adult, but we will also have kids coloring and crafts available.

    The Nonfiction Book Group meets the 1st Friday of each month from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the library’s large meeting room.  Join us for some interesting reading and lively conversation.  No registration is required. All are welcome!  Free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate provided by the Friends of the Germantown Community Library!

    Copies of the selected books are available at the Circulation Desk. Please bring your library card to check out a copy.
