MEMORY SCREENINGS (Tuesday, July 30 @ 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.)

The Germantown Community Library is pleased to offer memory screening through the Aging and -Disability Resource Center of Washington County.  Memory screenings help identify changes in memory and provide resources to monitor and treat possible changes.     A workshop presented by the Alzheimer’s Association.  Behavior is a powerful form of communication and is one of the primary ways for people with dementia to communicate their needs and feelings as the ability to use language is lost.  Join us to learn to decode behavioral messages, identify common behavior triggers, and learn strategies to help intervene with some of the most common behavior challenges of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.  Registration appreciated.  Please call 800.272.3900 or email

    Held the 3rd Monday of each month @ 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. on a rotating basis with Brookfield, Elm Grove, Germantown, Menomonee Falls, Sussex libraries.
