    FAMILY FRONTIER DAY @ PIONEER VILLAGE (Saturday, September 28 @ 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

    Join Monarch libraries for a day at Pioneer Village in Saukville, WI!  This fun-filled event, held rain or shine, is FREE and for all ages. Family Frontier Day @ Pioneer Village offers many indoor and outdoor activities such as period craft demonstrations, exploring buildings dating from the 1840s, pioneer games, storytime, and a scavenger hunt.  Located at: Ozaukee County Pioneer Village 4880 Cty Rd I (Saukville, WI). Lunch will be available for purchase from the Ozaukee County Historical Society. Menu includes a hot dog, soda, water, and a cookie for $5.00

    Join Sage Naturals from Hustisford to talk about the amazing benefits of Elderberries.  We will be demonstrating how to make your own Elderberry syrup so you can stay ahead of seasonal sickness.  After we’re finished making, we’ll be sharing a sample so everyone can get a taste of the best herbal medicine.  Come hang out and talk natural health and herbal wellness with us!

    The Nonfiction Book Group meets the 1st Friday of each month from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the library’s large meeting room.  Join us for some interesting reading and lively conversation.  No registration is required. All are welcome!  Free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate provided by the Friends of the Germantown Community Library!
