    Target Audience: Geared to 3 – 5 year olds, but children of all ages are welcome!

    Tuesdays @ 10:30 a.m.

    • No sign up is required, just drop in!
    • Storytime lasts about 30 minutes.
    • Storytime is followed by a craft or activity.

    Join us for stories, movement and music geared for preschoolers. Storytime is a great way to introduce growing kids to books, social interaction and lifelong learning!

    Preschool storytime is held during sessions throughout the year.  Check our website for specific dates and themes.

    Meet former Wisconsin governor Martin Schreiber as he discusses his book My Two Elaines: Learning, Coping, and Surviving as an Alzheimer’s Caregiver about being an Alzheimer’s caregiver for his wife, Elaine.  Autographed copies of the book will also be for sale.

    Target Audience: All Ages

    1st Thursday of every month @ 4:00 – 7:30 p.m.

    Artists of all skill levels are invited to join the library’s Craft Circle. All crafts are welcome.  Meet and learn from other artists and have fun!  Feel free to drop-in anytime during the event.  Bring your own supplies or learn how to make something new with our guest crafters!  Kids coloring and crafts will also be provided.

    Target Audience: Adults

    2nd Wednesday on select months @ 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

    A memory screen is a wellness tool that helps identify possible changes in memory and cognition.  It creates a baseline of where a person is at so that future changes can be monitored.  It’s free and only takes 10 minutes.

    Memory screenings are available through the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Washington County to anyone and can be scheduled by calling Tammy Dickman at 262-335-4497.
