• Storytime lasts about 30 minutes.

GIANT STEPS WITH JOHN HEASLEY  (Thursday, July 11 @ 6:00 p.m.)

2019 is the 50^th Anniversary of the First Moon Landing.  Hear the story of how humans first journeyed to another world and what they discovered there.  John Heasley is an enthusiastic amateur astronomer and English teacher and was trained as a Space Educator through a number of institutions including the NASA Nightsky Network.  Question & answer session and reception to follow.

Shows geared for ages 5-11 will also be held at 10:30 a.m. & 1:30 p .m.

Usbourne Books offers a huge variety of books for babies through teenagers.  Books can be purchased in the library or online through our website or facebook page.  30% of all sales goes to support future programs and materials in the youth services department.

GERMANTOWN FARMER’S MARKET (Saturdays @ 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)

Join the library at the Germantown Farmer’s Market this summer from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  We will have a variety of different activities each week including kid’s crafts, bubbles, chalk, giant games, character visits, and books for sale as well as information about library programs and services.
