Memory Cafe

Target Audience: Adults with early stage dementia, mild memory loss or mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and a family member or care partner
Join Washington County Master Gardener Lora Schrieiber as we learn about gardening, share our favorite experiences and make our own teacup gardens. We will also have some delicious treats made from vegetables such as carrot cake and zucchini bread.
A Memory Café is a social gathering for those who are experiencing early stage dementia, mild memory loss or mild cognitive impairment, and a family member or care partner. Additional Memory Cafes will be held on the 3rd Monday of every month, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. at libraries in Elm Grove, Brookfield & Menomonee Falls.

Make sure to include the topic of your question so we can be prepared with instructions. Can’t make the scheduled times? Let us know and we can work to find a time that meets your scheduling needs.
Some examples of questions include using library databases, downloading eBooks or eAudiobooks through Overdrive/Libby or RB Digital, using a tablet, setting up an email account, research assistance, genealogy research, signing up for Gale Courses, and printing.
